Description

The Compliance Officer is responsible for ensuring all candidates meet Fidelis Healthcare’s required compliance, vetting and onboarding standards. This role is critical in maintaining a safe, highquality and fully compliant workforce ready for deployment across our services. 

The role requires an excellent understanding of the healthcare landscape, compliance standards, and workforce planning for services regulated under relevant health and regulatory agencies. 

 

This post is essential in ensuring Fidelis Healthcare maintains a robust and compliant workforce capable of responding quickly to urgent, complex, stabilisation or planned packages across all geographical needs of the group.

A Compliance Officer performs an essential role within the business; a role that ensures the company’s compliance processes are followed. 

 

You will provide support to new candidates seeking registration; collecting and uploading the required documentation and managing the process. 

 

You will also provide ongoing support to our candidates, offering a professional service to assist and advising them on the necessary requirements to remain compliant and working within regulations. 

 

Your responsibilities would include but not limited to below-  

 

  • Advising candidates on compliance requirements and assisting them through the process. 
  • Supporting new registrations with their application process. 
  • Obtaining all required documentation from candidates and uploading it to the CRM system. 
  • Updating candidates on the status of their compliance documents, including upcoming expiry dates. 
  • Arranging and coordinating virtual interviews with new candidates, in some cases face to face. 
  • Assisting with compliant campaigns. 
  • Supporting the Compliance Officers with audits. 
  • Booking training dates, DBS/Garda, Disclosure/Access  and renewals. 
  • Liaising with occupational health to complete blood tests. 
  • Mandatory Training  

 

You must be highly organised, able to build and maintain relationships, have excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills. You must be tenacious and motivated to work towards targets. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Verify and process Right to Work documentation. 
    Complete and quality‑check all candidate compliance documents. 
  • Ensure DBS/Garda/Disclosure/Access NÍ, training, references, employment history and clinical documents meet required standards. 
  • Update compliance trackers and internal systems daily. 
  • Liaise with candidates to collect missing documents and resolve compliance issues. 
  • Escalate concerns regarding fraudulent documents or safeguarding risks. 
  • Respond to submitted application on the App  within 30mins and deployment readiness. 
  • Maintain accurate data management in line with GDPR.
